The 37th Annual Veterinary Dental Forum is co-sponsored by the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC), offering a variety of educational and networking opportunities for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other veterinary professionals.

VDF 2023 will be held from October 25 to 28, 2023, at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, where GerVetUSA, at booth no. 300, will present its new and improved veterinary surgical instruments, specifically designed for dentistry needs.

Olsen Hegar Needle Holder Scissors Combination - Tungsten Carbide 6 1/2" Color Coated

This is a combination of a needle holder and scissors, which makes it a versatile tool for suturing procedures. They are ideal for gripping and driving needles and cutting suture threads. It features tungsten carbide inserted jaws, which provide a firm grip on suturing needles, even the smallest and most delicate ones. The instrument is precisely crafted from German stainless steel, making it sterilizable for reuse.

Hi Level Bandage Scissors 5 1/2" Rainbow Color Coated (Knowles)

These are our German-forged pair of scissors that are perfect for cutting tighter bandages on animals’ skin. They are made of German stainless steel and have a rainbow color coating that makes them less reflective and easy to find. The scissors are also sharp and durable with a blunt knob, so they help cut through even the toughest bandages. In addition, their ergonomic handle design provides improved comfort and control while removing bandages.

Mayo Scissors Curved - Tungsten Carbide

Our Mayo Scissors Curved have tungsten carbide inserts in their jaws, making them more precise and durable for dense tissue cutting during animal procedures. The curved design of the scissors’ blades helps veterinarians access narrow spaces for easy tissue dissection. Moreover, these scissors are easy to handle and sterilizable for reuse.
