New York VET 2026: What Veterinarians Need to Know

The New York Vet Show 2026 runs October 29 and 30 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. It’s a chance to gain new ideas, earn CE credits, and see what’s new in veterinary products. We’ll be at Booth 209 with our surgical instruments, so stop by to see our products firsthand.

With so much happening at New York Vet, it can be hard to decide where to spend your time. You don’t want to miss a session you were looking forward to or rush past an exhibit you wanted to visit. We’ve put together this guide to help you plan your two days, find sessions worth attending, and make time to explore the exhibit hall.

Through educational sessions including internal medicine, pain management, animal behavior, dentistry, emergency care, and practice leadership, you can earn up to 16 CE credits.

The sessions will be held from 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM on October 29 and 8:10 AM to 5:00 PM on October 30. On both days, the exhibit hall opens at 8:00 AM.

Review the official program schedule before heading to the show so you can plan your day around the sessions that interest you most.

Here’s a tip for making the most of your visit: As you attend each session, think about the instruments you use in your practice.

  • Dentistry and emergency care call for precise instruments that are easy to reach when time is tight.
  • Soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures require reliable cutting, grasping, and holding instruments.
  • Feline and exotic animal care often calls for smaller tools suited to delicate anatomy.

Use what you learn to review your current instrument selection. Focus on the procedures you perform most often and look for tools that suit your team’s daily needs.
