Cortex Screws - Hex Head

Cortex Screws with Hex Headed design are utilized in many veterinary orthopedic surgeries to fix plates on long bones. They generally have closely spaced, hollow threading compared to the cancellous screws. They also have a greater core-outer diameter ratio than the cancellous screws. These screws are robust and stronger than the commonly used cancellous screws. German stainless is the most commonly used material used to craft these blunt-ended screws.
