Luxating elevators are dental instruments that cut the periodontal ligament to ease the tooth from the socket. These are used to make extractions as painless as possible. Anglevators, as they are commonly known, operate on the lever principle.
The tip of a dental anglevator is thinner and sharper, allowing it to wedge securely between the bone and root in the periodontal ligament. It is designed to fit into smaller spaces. Anglevators can penetrate the periodontal ligament and raise the root surface. However, the Anglevator is a delicate instrument; it should not be used in a prying motion or with force, as its tip can easily break.
Our Anglevators have curved blades ranging from 1.5 mm to 6 mm. The dental luxating instruments come with the following characteristics:
• Ergonomic Handle
• Curved Curvature
• Sharp Tip
• Combination Of 4/6
