The Side Cutter 9" Double Action is a robustly structured instrument for cutting extended surgical wires in a perpendicular orientation during veterinary orthopedic procedures. Its tungsten carbide-inserted sharp jaws reach the areas where the wire has been inserted and then swiftly clip it down to a length that makes it a suitable fit. This side cutter is ideal for cutting wires of up to 2.38mm. To help apply controlled force, the instrument features a double spring system.
